Golem Reviver
Adam created this cocktail to celebrate our good friend David Naimon’s literary debut – the publication of his first short story in the literary journal Zyzzyva. The cocktail’s name is a nod to both the classic Corpse Reviver cocktail and David’s story The Golem of Orla Shalom.
- 1 ounce Scotch Whisky
- 1/2 ounce Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 ounce Meyer lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce Benedictine
- 1/4 ounce Grenadine Syrup (1 cup sugar dissolved in 1 cup water)
- 2 dashes Regan's orange bitters
Combine above ingredients in an ice-filled shaker and shake with vigor. Strain into Grandma Naimon's martini glasses (or other suitable, well-chilled cocktail glasses).
Drink with the vigor of a published author!*
*Three of these drunk in quick succession will revive the golem.
