Advanced Wine Sensory Workshop

Wednesdays, August 2, 9 and 16, 2023. Course held at The Wine & Spirit Archive, 3319 SE 50th Ave, Portland, OR. Tuition: $188.

This advanced-level workshop allows students to refine their wine tasting technique and fine-tune their wine analysis skills. Over the course of three sessions, wines will be evaluated from three different perspectives:

Session 1: Wine building blocks and components

Session 2: The origin and expression of aromas and flavors

Session 3: Wine faults and flaws

Who should take this course: This workshop assumes an understanding of wine tasting technique and is ideal for students who have completed either WSET Level 2 or WSET Level 3.

About the instructor: Reggie Daigneault holds the WSET Diploma in Wine and brings over 40 years of wine industry experience to her teaching. This course is based on the semester-long sensory course Reggie taught for a decade at South Seattle College.
