In this class, we’ll explore the geological history that led to the particular rock types and soils found in the Willamette Valley’s best vineyard sites. We’ll then explore how these variations in rock origin, mineralogy, porosity and water retention shape the wine styles that define our beloved region. Don’t quite know your Jory from your Nekia?
