ONLINE WSET – Level 3 Award in Wine Course
Here, you will be challenged with in-depth examination of every major wine region, including (but not limited to) – varietals, styles, viticulture, technique, educated food pairings, and labeling laws.
This online format offers the opportunity to learn on your own schedule over a 9-week timeline. Guided by an online tutor, it’s broken into 9 learning modules with interactive exercises & practice tests to help refine study and exam preparation.
For the student’s maximum success, they should plan to allocate at least 90 hours to their study.
Modules 1-2: Exploring Style, Quality & Price.
Modules 3-6: Exploring Still Wines of Europe.
Modules 7-8: Exploring Still Wines from Regions Around the World.
Module 9: Sparkling & Fortified Wines.

This advanced level study is appropriate for those with a very strong foundation of knowledge and tasting technique.
The WSET Level 2 Award in Wine or WSET Level 2 Award in Wine – ONLINE Course is a recommended prerequisite.
Industry – The aspiring professional will take a great leap from this course, establishing themselves as an asset at almost every level of the industry upon completion.

**Also included is an in-person training in the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting with Mimi Martin – Education Director. This training is offered in-person the day prior to the scheduled exam.

*****Please note: Although the majority of this course is held online, students will take the exam in Portland, Oregon on their selected exam date. This will include a blind evaluation of 2 wines in addition to 50 multiple choice questions and 4 short-answer/essay questions. Once successfully completed, students receive the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine.
