Champagne Specialist Certification Course [June 28/29]

This high-level Champagne Course — developed by the Comité Champagne — is for the dedicated Champagne lover and Champagne professional. Students will engage deeply with one of the most iconic (and delicious!) wines of the world as they develop an advanced-level of knowledge.

The interactive format of this course develops deep understanding of Champagne wines, including labels and regulations, sensory evaluation, storage, service, and pairing.

Session 1: Introduction, tasting technique, food pairing

Session 2: Champagne Terroir

Session 3: Champenois Method

Session 4: Recommending, Serving and Storage

About the exam: 30 multiple-choice questions, 2 open questions, tasting of 2 Champagnes. Students who successfully complete the end-of-course certification exam will be awarded the Champagne Specialist certification.

Sessions

Saturday and Sunday, June 28 and 29, 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Registration deadline: June 1 (early registration recommended).
Certification exam: end of class on June 28, 2025.
