ONLINE WSET – Level 2 Award in Beer
The WSET Level 2 Beer Course is an immersive, intermediate level course that will guide you through the key ingredients and production methods that influence the quality, style, and flavors of beer.
Upon completion, students gain a recognized qualification and the skills to select, taste, and describe beers with confidence.
This 5-week online beer course is taught over 6 modules:
Module 1: What is beer and how is it made
Module 2: Malt and other sources of sugar
Module 3: Hops and yeast
Module 4: Styles of beer
Module 5: Storage and service of beer
Module 6: Exam revision

Who should take this course:
This intermediate level course is appropriate for students with some background in beer and/or students who have completed previous beer training including the WSET Level 1 Award in Beer. Students should allocate approximately 30 hours of study time to be successful in this program.
About the exam:
The 1-hour, 50-multiple choice certification exam can be taken online from home or in person at The Wine & Spirit Archive. Exams must be ordered at least 3. 5 weeks in advance.
