ONLINE - WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits Course
The WSET Level 3 Spirits Course is an advanced-level program offering a thorough understanding of the factors involved in producing the world’s major spirits styles. The course will prepare students with the skills required to make professional evaluations of spirits with regards to their style and quality.
The online course is a self-guided, interactive 9-week program organized in the following modules:
Tasting technique, alcoholic fermentation and distillation
Pot stills, column stills, maturation in oak and inert vessels
Factors affecting style and quality of whisky
Factors affecting style and quality of fruit spirits
Asian spirits
Sugar cane spirits
Agave spirits
Vodka, gin, and other flavored spirits

There will be no additional fee for course books, exam, or course certificate.
Also included is an in-person training in the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting with instructor, Paul Clarke, senior editor, Imbibe Magazine. This training is offered in-person the day prior to the scheduled exam.
