WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits
The WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits Course offers a challenging and in-depth examination of the world of spirits including eleven major spirits categories; impact on style of raw materials, fermentation, distillation and post-distillation practices; styles variations within categories, key labeling terms, and professional tasting technique using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting.
The course includes approximately 30 hours of classroom instruction including lecture, discussion and tasting of representative spirit styles using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting. In order to be successful in this course, students should also budget time outside of class for reading, studying, tasting and completion of homework assignments.
Course tuition includes all tasting fees, course textbook, study guide, exam fees and course certificate.

Who should take this course:
This advanced level course is appropriate for students with a strong foundation in spirits knowledge and tasting technique. The WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits is a recommended prerequisite.
About the exam:
The certification exam at the end of the course includes blind evaluation of 2 spirits as well as 50 multiple choice questions and short-answer/essay questions. Students who successfully complete this exam are awarded the WSET Level 3 Award in Spirits.
